How much are the shipping costs?
The amount of shipping costs depends on the products you order. If you place an order that fits in the mailbox you pay € 7,95. For 2 meter packages it is € 13,- and for the 3 meter packages € 36,-. Different rates apply for Belgium. For letterbox mail € 11,00 and for the 2 meter packages it is € 15,00. The shipping cost for the 3 meter packages is € 37,99.
Can I also place an order by phone?
Yes you can, but we prefer it through the shop. If you find that difficult you can also order by mail (on invoice). This is to avoid misunderstandings.
Do you also deliver on Saturdays?
If the order is ordered on Thursday or Friday, it can be delivered on Saturday. Please note that this is only for orders that can fit through the mailbox (these are delivered by PostNL). GLS unfortunately does not deliver on Saturdays.
What happens if I order on Friday after 1 p.m.?
If so, your order will not be processed and shipped until Monday.
Will my package always be delivered the next business day?
Did you order rails with a length of 3 meters? Then it could happen that the package will be delivered a day later. This is because they deliver the 3 meter rails with a different bus/truck. Do you need the rails on a certain date? Then make sure you place your order on time.
The moment you placed a small order that fits through the mailbox, chances are it will be delivered a day later. These orders are delivered by regular mail.
I haven't had a Track & Trace email, where is my order?
If you have placed an order that does not include rails it may have been sent via mailbox post. You will not receive a Track & Trace mail. It is also possible that you have not or incorrectly entered your email address. Also in that case you will not receive a Track & Trace mail.

PostNL/GLS did something wrong with the delivery, now what?
Unfortunately, we do not control all delivery drivers and your shipment may be damaged or delivered to a different address if you were not home without leaving a bill.

Yes, we also deliver in Belgium. Unfortunately, the shipping costs are a bit higher than for deliveries in the Netherlands. The cost for a letterbox package is € 11.00 and for a package of 2 meters is € 12.95. A package with a length of 3 meters unfortunately costs € 31.00 for shipping. This is because GLS has to manually sort and transport the parcel with an extended bus.

Can a rail also be shortened and how do I do that?
Yes, the rails can be easily shortened with a hacksaw or a sharpening tool. For a straight right angle cut, it is recommended to use a miter box.
What is the difference between perlon wire and steel wire?
A perlond wire is a plastic transparent wire with a carrying capacity of 20 Kg. A steel wire has a load-bearing capacity of 50 Kg.
The perlon cord curls up. How can I straighten this out?
Curling of perlon cord can occur if the perlon has been coiled for a long time. Usually the weight of the frame is sufficient to straighten the wire. If this is not sufficient, it helps to hang a weight on the wire for an extended period of time. This can be accelerated by first putting the wires in warm (not boiling or too hot) water for a few hours.
I want to repaint my primer rail. What paint should I use for that?
The primer version is basically paintable with the usual “house, garden and kitchen” paints on latex, acrylic and alkyd bases. Before repainting it is essential to pre-treat the surface. Degreasing (preferably with fire spirit) and light sanding with fine sandpaper is sufficient as pretreatment.
How do I make sure the rails mount nicely if I order several?
If you mount the assembly part: Click & Connect precisely between 2 rail parts, the rail runs smoothly. The seam is then hardly visible.
